I'm not gonna try to disagree about the greeks, but I really don't think think you have to read I mean--subject yourself to deleuze to get that the greeks are kinda cringey.
There is a place for them though. Teenagers can get a lot from the basics of skepticism, stoicism, and even the socratic dialogues (minus the Republic). Hell, I p much live that ataraxia life myself.
