I'm writing lots of javascript tonight: not sure why, it just really possessed me to work on this project today

Is the visitor bug the thing that keeps people that keeps visitors around?
I've noticed it but I thought they were going to leave sometime, but it's been 1 year already

Current fort gets around it by being on an island
but if your region is a huge mainland with a bunch of civs, you can get 100+ visitors at a time
kills FPS pretty bad
it has to do with civs sending spies to search for rumors of artifacts
they don't count against the visitor max

currently messing around with a microfort and doing rather poorly
One of my dwarves turned into a werelephant and killed all but one dwarf and it was rough trying to come back
above my fort is a wooden tavern

Breached the caverns; met lots of interesting inhabitants and killed them

rip fort

Surprisingly that didn't end my fort and I'm back to 50 strong, conducting raids on the next door human settlement

Fort finally died to crash and seemingly corrupt save

I spent my l8 night messing with a wireless bridge. Really not the most ideal way to spend time but everything came out fine in the end

and it can broadcast up to 12km if set up right with clear line-of-sight. I want to blast my pirate signal straight to the heavens and I can do that with a wireless bridge
