I hate when the VN slowly introduces new girls hours after the beginning

by this point you've already picked the first girl you're going to have a happy ending with

and then you get painful reminders that she's inferior to most of the cast

This girl is great. Why is the childhood friend AKA pseudo-sister so trash in this game compared to literally everyone

Hard to just give best VN but:
If you haven't seen the Steins;Gate dragon ball z, play the VN. If you have then don't because it's pretty faithful.
ef - is an amazing visual novel - remains the only VN I would consider a 10/10. It also has an anee-may but it's a bad adaptation.
Also adding that Ever17 is considered a classic by most people, is non-lewd, and a little dated. But it's a game you should play.
