Dido meeting Aeneas after a storm blew his ships to Carthage. The gods told Aeneas to go to Italy, but Dido fell in love with him and convinced to stay as her king. Eventually the Gods remind Aeneas of his duty and he leaves for Italy and Dido kill herself.

Or thereabouts, all I know of this legend is from the Marlowe play.
