>>2474What is this trash?
>>>/watch?v=I25UeVXrEHQyou shall know the fear that i do
what distro do you use?I'm running openrc arch gnu/linux
>>2830I'm also using arch at the moment. gnu/linux and all that. just switched over to use wayland over X11.with sway, which is an i3 drop-in replacement
>>2850I used to use wayland on archI dropped it because a lot of packages in mainline pacman were not compiled with --enable-wayland>>2852>early in devっっっっっっっっwanyway I'm debugging a wayland install on gentoo right nowhave you tried loliwm I mean https://github.com/Cloudef/orbmentit's neat but is not i3 compatible; I might just make the switch anyway
>>2850>waylandI cant bring myself to set it up and try living with it while it's still so early in dev. It's hell to get Bumblebee working in X, I can't imagine wrestling it in wayland.>>2851Yeah whatever lol, ill be back whenever more than 2 people worldwide have figured out how to live with it.
>>2851I very well might switch over to gentoo this summer but I had to get my computer running quickly with arch when it completely melted down like a week ago. I haven't seen loliwm before but I might check it out.>>2852yo when was the last time you tried? I had no trouble getting it running. x-only apps can run under xWayland and there are now wayland backends to both qt5 and gtk. I haven't used Bumblebee though so that might still be a deal breaker.
>>2863a word of warning that gentoo wayland support is terriblewell, it's more like the people that write the compositors do not respect people who use OpenRCI'm carefully installing x11-base/xorg-server becuase (confusingly enough) xorg-server respects my choice to use openrc>>2863is this on your daily machine? a lot of thinkering with my daily build puts me in a sour mood
>>2758 BlasphemyThere's only one true OS It's God's will
>>3173I'm sorry, did you mean to posthttp://www.templeos.org/this?
>archlinux openrc project is shutting downthere really is nowhere to runI might just install gentoo on my main laptop; systemd is too ineffective
